SKRC was in the house for July’s ADRL race at US131 Motorsports Park in Martin, MI. It was a great show with perfect weather. We qualified 14th with a 3.87 @ 186 mph. Brian had to lift early as he got out of the groove down track. This was a very exciting qualifying session Friday night. Dues to some electrical issues the launch timing curve did not work and just blew the tires off in the first round. The problem is now sorted out and a lot was learned this weekend. The Olds is looking fast and consistent these days so look for us at the next race at Milan Dragway on August 5th.

A 16 car field rocked the house on July 1st for Milan Dragway’s Friday Night Heads Up Series. The Hurst Olds was there representing SKRC. With stiff competition it was a hard fight to make the final round. Unfortunately a blower belt did kept the Olds out of the winners circle. Congrats to Bill Rowe and his team on the outstanding performance all night long! It was a good night for SKRC with many of our cars pushing new limits. Keep up the good work guys!

SKRC is looking forward to the 2011 season. With so many stepping up their game it is looking to be the fastest season yet!
